Bertoldini & Torre Paratie have been built and tested in Venice for 25 years. Over time, they have been continuously optimized and made an effective means of preventing flooding from high waters or severe weather.
Made entirely of certified AISI 316L stainless steel (a material also used in the nautical industry) to prevent corrosion over time, the paratia is designed to withstand impacts from floating material brought by the tide.
The locking mechanisms are easy to use and incorporated into the paratia itself, which can be positioned by anyone with simple movements and in just a few seconds.
Our blacksmiths, after quickly assembling the bulkheads with stainless steel screws for securing the side guides, provide assistance upon completion of the job, guiding the customer through the simple assembly and disassembly steps.
Our technicians assess any installation issues on-site, identify the most appropriate and customized solution, take measurements, inspect the construction in the workshop, and perform installation.

A double-panel paratia can be requested for two levels of protection (photos 1-2-3).
The paratia can also be integrated into the tidal tank during renovations (photo 2).
Another type of paratia we manufacture is the multiple-panel type, with adjacent panels to protect the entrance to large spaces (foto 7).

ANTI-TIDE TANKS

We manufacture stainless steel tanks to protect buildings from high water, preparing them for the integration of paratie if necessary.
We also perform leak tests on welds with special penetrating products to detect any micro-imperfections in the welded joints, thus ensuring the tank’s perfect watertightness.
